Our Team
musicALL Core Team:
Director – Rob Gallagher
Rob oversees all aspects of musicALL’s strategic, project delivery and administrative functions, managing the core team to raise funds, plan ahead, deliver projects, report to the board, and evaluate how things are going for our musicians and young people throughout the year. Since 2004, Rob had worked in various roles across music and the arts, and in social care and community development. Rob is a musician (keyboards and drums) and still plays with tribute bands and cabaret acts across the UK on an ad-hoc basis. He sits on the board of the Croft visitors centre at HMP Barlinnie. Rob is passionate about equality and inclusion, and his vision for a fairer society where everyone’s voice is heard is what drives him in his role at musicALL.
Creative Lead – Scott MacKay
Scott heads up the teams working on the ‘Move On Up’ and ‘The Fridays’ projects. He oversees the creative output and direction from the projects and works with the Project Manager to plan and deliver events. Scott has worked with musicALL since 2015, when he came on board as a tutor, working at Hazelwood School with the music team. Work outside of musicALL has included music instruction at a number of Secondary and Higher Education centres and professionally has performed around the world with such bands and artists as Roddy Hart, Mànran, Deacon Blue, Findlay Napier, Hannah Rarity, Rura and many more.
Communications and Fundraising Lead – Sam
Sam collates and creates resources across video, audio and written mediums – which includes our website and social media channels. He also leads on the design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of course materials and resources for our online learning platform.
